After-School Programs

About after-school time at OTES

Fall classes | Winter classes | Spring classes  | Other progams

The Oakland Terrace PTA sponsors a variety of after-school programs on school grounds. These programs run for about one hour after the school day. Students are escorted from classrooms to the programs and picked up by parents/caregivers afterwards or escorted to KAH. Program providers are local nonprofits or small businesses. We depend on parent coordinators to help these program happen! If you are interested in serving as a parent coordinator and receiving a free slot for your child in an upcoming after-school program, please contact us. Fall session runs October-December; Winter runs January-March, and Spring runs April-June.

KAH logoKids After Hours offers before- and after-school care at Oakland Terrace for a fee during on school days and certain times when school is closed, such as minor holidays, breaks and teacher professional development days. KAH is separate from PTA after-school programs, but your child may attend both. Care is available at Oakland Terrace from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3:20 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every school day and on some days when school is not in session.

PTA-sponsored after-school program spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, but providers sometimes add extra sections for more popular classes. The OTES PTA is committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate in our After-School Enrichment Activities.  We offer some financial aid to support students who need assistance to attend after school enrichment activities.
